Cabergoline
-Cabergoline is a drug used in the treatment of symptoms of Parkinson's disease. It is used to help control symptoms after your doctor has tried other treatments and has not benefited, or by adding the medications you are currently using for this disease.
-Cabergoline belongs to a group of drugs called dopamine agonists. Its active ingredient, cabergoline, has an effect similar to the chemical dopamine in the body. There is not enough of this chemical in patients with Parkinson's Disease.
-Cabergoline works by increasing the effect of dopamine.
Appropriate dose and frequency of administration
The usual starting dose of Cabergoline is 1mg. Your doctor may increase the dose of the drug to reach the proper dose to control your symptoms (symptoms). This dose should generally not exceed 3 mg daily.
How to use Cabergoline
Cabergoline is taken orally with a glass of water. To reduce side effects, Cabergoline is recommended to be taken preferably after meals.
Use of Cabergoline in children
Since children do not have Parkinson's disease, safety and efficacy studies have not been performed on this group.

There is no special use.
Use in special cases
Kidney failure: There is no specific use recommendation.
Liver failure: If you have severe liver failure, it may be considered to use lower doses of Cabergoline.
